The compressed Project Restart schedule gives us midweek, midday football in the USA. And two teams with different goals face off at The Amex today when Brighton & Hove Albion face Manchester United today at 3:00 p.m. ET live on NBCSN.
There are multiple fantasy contests for the match available at DraftKings, and we break down the best way to put some points on your fantasy roster today.
Captain’s Pick
Anthony Martial ($16,800)
Had a hat trick in just 80 minutes against Sheffield United last Wednesday, but strangely it’s the 23 accurate passes that are why he’s our top choice here. It means he’s being played opportunities upon his return, and should have plenty against a Brighton side that have conceded the least goals and xG of any team in the relegation fight. United should win today, but the scoring might be at a premium. Martial is your best chance for a tally or even a brace.
Flex Picks
David De Gea ($7,800)
You should only take a keeper if you’re sure he can get a clean sheet, and Brighton’s realized path today is a 0-0 draw. They won’t be coming forward and testing the Spaniard, who had 12.3 fantasy points against Sheffield for his clean sheet and one save. He should have another today, and is worth the price. Might even add a couple more saves to help you score.
Paul Pogba ($6,000)
It looks like not only will Pogba start today, but he’ll be deployed in a more advanced role. To get someone with Pogba’s resume at this price is beyond a bargain, as he can still score from anywhere as well as link up with Bruno Fernandes, the latter the reason it appears Ole Gunnar Solskjær intends on keeping him at the Theatre of Dreams. Proving that decision wise today would go a long way towards assuring his place in the team next season. Too much value and too much incentive to play well to be passed on today.
