The Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers will face off in a Madden sim Monday at 4:00 p.m. ET. We break down the ideal Showdown lineup strategy for the DFS contest that will be played in the snow. You can set your lineup and play in the DraftKings contest before kickoff.

Captain’s Pick

Miles Sanders ($11,100)

We could see a lot of scoring in this simulation. These are two teams with dynamic offenses and defenses that don’t really instill much fear. Sanders has been one of the better ceiling RBs in sim land and I’m banking on another strong performance from him here. His a bit expensive, but we’re OK paying up if the points are there.

Fade of the Game

James Conner ($8,000)

After getting back in the saddle Sunday with a few sim calls, it reminded me that WRs and TEs are always going to be the best plays overall. Conner doesn’t have the upside that Sanders has, so I’m going to look elsewhere in this contest. We’ve got a ton of good WR plays to fit in so no need to go with both RBs.

Value Picks

Nelson Agholor ($5,000) — Agholor has been a staple in my value picks for the Eagles. He’s not going to get a ton of targets, but the quality of the targets is what we’re looking for. Generally, Agholor gets looks on deeper routes and his speed is the X-Factor.

Diontae Johnson ($4,600) — Same for the Steelers, a lot of decent WR plays but I love Johnson at the low price tag. He’s had plenty of big games and even huge ceiling performances. If there is a lot of scoring, I’m loading up on wideouts.
