Top NFL Targets at each position for 6-game slate on June 28th

DraftKings will have yet another six-game slate of Madden simulations on Sunday. The Chicago Bears at Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans at Minnesota Vikings, Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots at Washington, Green Bay Packers at Carolina Panthers, Miami Dolphins at Baltimore Ravens all go heads up today. We break down the top plays at each position, and you can set your lineup here.

Quarterback

Mitchell Trubisky, Bears ($5,800) at Houston

Our man Trubsiky has hit a slump but a road game against a bad Texans defense should be the recipe for a nice jump in DK points. In away games, Trubisky averages 23 DK points per game with 60.4 rushing yards per game and seven rushing touchdowns through 14 matchups. Those rushing yards and touchdown upside make him a solid play each time he is simulated to play the football.

Lamar Jackson, Ravens ($7,600) vs. Dolphins

Jackson has shown some low floor games of late, but his upside remains extremely high with his rushing ability. And, this matchup with the Dolphins awful defense is great. I’d run with Jackson over Trubisky in this slate unless you really need that extra cash.

Running back

James White, Patriots ($5,800) at Washington

The Patriots don’t have many playmakers in these Madden simulations but White is the no doubt top back, which makes it easy to like him at his price each week. His ability to catch passes and rack up yards on the ground make him a strong play, especially against a poor Washington defense.

Mark Ingram, Ravens ($6,200) vs. Dolphins

If you go with Trubisky or another non-Lamar Jackson quarterback, I’m leaning Ingram at running back against the Dolphins. Ingram has a low, low floor, but has shown enough upside of late to be considered. He’s found the end zone in three straight games and the Dolphins have little defense to worry about.

Wide Receiver

Allen Robinson, Bears ($7,000) at Texans

Robinson has been awful, with three of his last four games not topping TWO DK points. But, he has 40.9 and 34.5 DK points games not too far down the ol’ game log. He’s been a high upside play for these simulations but his recent cold spell could keep people away.

Mohamed Sanu, Patriots ($4,100) at Washington

This matchup for the Patriots is pretty good, and a stack with Tom Brady at the helm is tempting. I like Sanu here for the matchup, price and decent floor. He’s hit double-digit DK points in nine of his last 11 games and has shown decent upside in a few of those. He’s also shown better on the road than at home, with 10 of his 16 touchdowns coming away from simulated Foxboro.

Marquise Brown, Ravens ($5,400) vs. Dolphins

A Jackson/Brown stack might produce a Fountain of Sorrow, but the upside is great. Brown doesn’t have to have a good game for Jackson to put up big numbers, but it sure wouldn’t hurt. Brown has also topped 18 DK points in four of his last five matchups.

Tight End

Trey Burton, Bears ($4,600) at Texans

This slot usually goes to Ben Watson but I’m bored of writing him up every single time he plays, so I’m going to push Burton here with a Trubisky stack. Burton isn’t a high upside play, but can give you 12 to 20 DK points if Trubs is slinging the rock. But, Watson is always the best play.

Defense/Special Teams

Minnesota Vikings ($2,900) vs. Titans

The Vikings have 35 sacks and average 7.9 DK points in 15 home games while Ryan Tannehill has been average at best.
