The Tennessee Titans and Minnesota Vikings will face off in a Madden sim Sunday at 2:00 p.m. ET. We break down the ideal Showdown lineup strategy for the DFS contest that will be played in the snow. You can set your lineup and play in the DraftKings contest before kickoff.

Captain’s Picks

The Titans don’t have a lot to offer as far as captain’s candidates go. Derrick Henry hasn’t looked anything like the NFL’s most recent rushing leader, and the receiving corps has no stars. If any Tennessee player is worth a look, it’s Ryan Tannehill ($15,600). He has respectable 81 speed and can be a factor scrambling against Minnesota’s stout defensive line. he also has above average accuracy on short and intermediate throws.

The Vikings have a few more options to work with. Kirk Cousins ($16,200) is one option worth considering, as both his starting wideouts have overall ratings above 90. Dalvin Cook ($13,500) will likely be the more common pick though, as both the Titans’ tackles have ratings below 80.

FLEX Men

Henry loses work to Dion Lewis ($2,400) on third downs. The RB2 can be just as productive as the starter and has an easier time accruing points when he gets touches because of his PPR upside. If you pay up for Cook as a captain, Lewis can be one of the top inexpensive flex options.

You have to include either Adam Thielen ($8,400) or Stefon Diggs ($10,000) in the flex here. Thielen has better numbers and is significantly cheaper, but Diggs occasionally explodes for monster games. The safe pick is Thielen, but taking a risk and betting on the pricier Diggs could pay off in a big way.
