Both Crystal Palace and Burnley have 42 points in 31 games in the English Premier League (EPL) this season. Only a goal difference separates them at the middle of the Premier League table, making their Monday fixture a crucial game. We break down suggestions for your DraftKings Showdown roster below. The contest locks at 3:00 p.m. ET on Monday.

Captain
Jordan Ayew ($15,000)
Ayew has easily been the most potent offensive weapon for Crystal Palace this season. He has scored nine goals, including one in Palace’s first game back after the resumption. In the previous game against Liverpool, Palace didn’t have much to do as they lost 4-0. They should return to form against an injury-ravaged Burnley team.
Others to consider: Dwight McNeil ($15,900)
High-priced flex options
Dwight McNeil ($10,600)
The reason McNeil is the most expensive player in this slate is because he has been a vital cog in Burnley’s sporadic offense. He is the only player among both teams to average double-digit fantasy points (11.4 DKFP per game). That’s come about after he has aggregated two goals and six assists for Burnley. If they are to have a chance against a quality team, Burnley will need McNeil to step up, particularly with Christian Wood out.
Luka Milivojevic ($8,400)
Milivojevic is tremendous in dead-ball situations. His free kick in Palace’s 2-0 win in their first game since the return of the Premier League was a sight to behold. He has scored just three goals in the EPL but he contributes with set-pieces and accuracy. He has averaged 9.5 DKFP per game so far.
Patrick van Aanholt ($8,000)
Van Aanholt is an important inclusion for two reasons. One, Palace will fancy their chances of a clean sheet against a Burnley team that doesn’t have their best squad. Burnley don’t score a lot of goals in any case. Secondly, van Aanholt can contribute offensively, too. He has scored three goals this season already, same as Milivojevic.
Others to consider: Ashley Westwood ($7,600).
Value flex options
Andros Townsend ($5,000)
With Wilfried Zaha questionable for this game, it might make sense to keep him on the bench. That might mean Townsend gets another start. He will be a key aggressive option for Crystal Palace from the right flank. His fitness is fine: he played the entire duration of the game against Liverpool. He would want to build on his one goal this season.
James McArthur ($4,800)
McArthur won’t score a brace in this game. He is just not that kind of player in this formation. He is majorly a contributory player, making accurate deliveries for his colleagues. He has managed three assists so far in the EPL. However, for a price of $4,800, he might prove to be a useful choice.
Others to consider: Gary Cahill ($4,000)
