We break down the best lineup strategy for the Final Round Showdown at the Travelers Championship.

We’ve got another tight finish lined up at the Travelers Championship on the PGA Tour this weekend. The golfers having been tearing up TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut, through three rounds. Brendon Todd leads the way at -18 with a handful of names behind him. Dustin Johnson (-16) shot up the leaderboard with a huge round on Saturday. Let’s go over some Showdown picks for Sunday.

Bryson DeChambeau ($10,500)

Buff Bryson is lined up well for another top 10 finish, which would be his sixth straight on the tour. he continues to do a ton of damage off the tee and only trails the top of the leaderboard by five strokes heading into the final round. DeChambeau is the safest of the top tier golfers in Showdown contests heading into Sunday.

Dustin Johnson ($9,300)

I was high on DJ heading into the weekend but didn’t really think he’d shoot up as quickly as he did. Johnson put together the best round on Saturday with a 61, tied with Todd. DJ looked really strong around the greens, making pretty much all of his putts. Todd was great, but if we’re banking on a golfer repeating Saturday, I’d go with Johnson. He seems due for a win and this is going to be his best shot on the Tour this season.

Brendan Steele ($7,900)

Steele looked like he was on his way to contending on the back-9 Saturday, but sputtered out and was only able to string together a 68. If he cleans up some of the mistakes around the green from Saturday, Steele can easily get that number to a 65 or 64 on Sunday, which would give him a decent shot at a top 10 finish. He’s a great option in the $7K range and should go overlooked a bit.

Patton Kizzire ($6,300)

Kizzire has been consistent throughout this tournament with three straight 66s. He’s pretty much pulled through in each of the Showdown contests at Travelers, so why are we going to get off of him on Sunday. There are really only two options in the $6K range — Kizzire and Seung-Yul Noh, who is tied with Patton at 12-under. Really both options are strong, but Noh will cost us $300 more.
