The LCS returns this Friday with two more games, including a blockbuster game between Cloud9 and Liquid. We break down the selections to consider for your DraftKings roster from Friday night’s games.
Set your lineups here: LOL $80K Double Buff [$20K to 1st] (LCS)
Captain
Zven ($11,700)
Zven and Cloud9 have enjoyed a fine season so far. He has managed 3.5 kills and 6.25 assists with just 1 death, giving him a KDA equal to his kill participation rate (9.75). Cloud9 is easily the best team in the LCS. So it’s highly unlikely you’ll regret picking a Captain from there. He even has a creep score of close to 300.
Other to consider: PowerOfEvil ($11,100)
Top
Licorice ($6,400)
Licorice at this price is an absolute steal. Cloud9 is up against the quality of Liquid, which is why the price has been lowered. In terms of numbers, any top laner would find it extremely hard to meet Licorice. He has a KDA of 6 with 4.25 kills, 1.75 deaths and 6.25 assists in this summer season. These are bot laner numbers.
Other to consider: Solo ($6,600)
Jungler
Santorin ($7,000)
Another player that has impressed in this young season so far. Santorin has been a force in the Summoner’s Rift jungle. That effectiveness is witnessed in his statistical returns for FlyQuest this season: he has 3.5 kills, 1.5 deaths and 11.25 assists, giving him a KDA of close to 10. He has averaged 35.8 DKFP, highest amongst junglers on this slate.
Others to consider: Blaber ($7,200)
Mid
Nisqy ($7,600)
If you have the chance to stack from Cloud9, take it. It’s unusual and rare to get that opportunity. Liquid is no pushover but I don’t think their roster has the same level of quality, particularly after Doublelift’s exit. Nisqy has averaged 10.2 assists, third most in the LCS this season. He even has a KDA of 13.25!
Other to consider: PowerOfEvil ($7,400)
ADC
Mash ($7,600)
Mash has played just two games this season. He should start this game too. He has been a steady force for FlyQuest in these two games, on both ends. He has a kill participation of 14.5 with 6 kills and 8.5 assists per game this season. That has translated to 31.1 DKFP, highest for bot laners in this slate.
Other to consider: Tactical ($6,800)
Support
IgNar ($5,400)
IgNar currently leads the LCS in assists. He has aggregated 48 assists in four games with an average of 12 per map. He has a KDA of 7.14 as well, an indicator of solid numbers in the other metrics as well.
Team
FlyQuest ($5,400)
I’d say FlyQuest has a slightly better chance of winning against Counter Logic Gaming ($4,400) than Cloud9 ($5,600) has of beating Liquid. FlyQuest is also $200 cheaper. FlyQuest has a 3-1 record after two weeks of the LCS. That should improve after this weekend.
