I’d literally keep checking right up until first pitch, but, on Friday, it appears Dan Straily ($9,500) and the Giants will actually get to play for the first time since Tuesday. Rain has pushed back the import’s scheduled starts, yet that doesn’t change the fact that Straily has been one of the league’s best pitchers. In fact, the RHP comes into this slate with the KBO’s second-best FIP (2.74) and it’s second-best strikeout rate (28.4%). He’s obviously viable and worthy of his hefty price tag.
