Set your lineups here: LOL $60K Shock Blast [$20K to 1st] (LEC)
Captain
Kobbe ($10,800)
Just like the previous LEC slate, I’m opting for an inexpensive Captain because Perkz ($12,600) is just too costly to create a strong all-around balance on your roster. Kobbe immediately found his form after his trade to Misfits prior to the summer split. He has managed 3.2 kills and 3.4 assists and my feeling is that he will increase both those numbers on Friday.
Others to consider: Perkz ($12,600)
Top
Orome ($5,400)
I’m not sure why Orome’s price is so low. Let’s break the factors down.
- Split form: 1.8 kills, 1.2 deaths and 7.4 assists with a KDA of 7.67. Very strong.
- Team form: Mad Lions has won four of five games this split.
- Upcoming matchup: A relatively tough fixture against Origen.
- Overall analysis: He is definitely worth his price.
Others to consider: Dan Dan ($6,000)
Jungler
SelfMade ($7,200)
After two inexpensive selections, you’re free to splurge on almost every other category on this slate. SelfMade, under normal circumstances, would be a bit too costly at $7,200, but by drafting Kobbe you have a much better roster of names. SelfMade has been one of the best players this season, averaging 3.8 kills, 0.6 deaths and 4 assists, giving him a lofty KDA of 13!
Others to consider: Jankos ($7,600)
Mid
Caps ($8,000)
Another benefit of taking the hit in earlier categories is that you can pick players like Caps. He has been off his best in the first few games of summer, but that’s also down to the fact that G2 has endured two losses so far. Still, he has averaged 3 kills and 5 assists with a KDA of 5.
Others to consider: Nukeduck ($7,200)
ADC
Perkz ($8,400)
Owning a mid laner and ADC combination from the best team in the LEC is a serious flex. Perkz’s numbers are normally above his current split stats of 3.4 kills and 4.2 assists. He will see this matchup against SK Gaming as an opportunity to do just that. I don’t expect this game to last much longer than 30 minutes either.
Others to consider: Rekkles ($8,000)
Support
Hylissang ($5,000)
After a strong start to this campaign in the opening weekend, Fnatic lost plenty of ground last week. Hylissang didn’t have a great two days either. He would want to drastically improve on his current KDA of 1.45, as well. However, this presents an opportunity because his price is quite low.
Team
Misfits ($5,200)
There are other obvious choices for the team slot. From a value-for-money standpoint, Misfits should be a strong option. The team returned to form last week, taking its overall split record to 2-3. Against Vitality, I’d expect Misfits to take it back to 0.500 at 3-3.
