The PGA Tour returns to action on Thursday with the 2020 Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands in Connecticut. The tournament tees off at 6:45 a.m. with Thursday coverage on PGA Tour Live and Golf Channel.
Chez Reavie is the defending champion, having beat out Zack Sucher and Keegan Bradley last year. This year, Justin Thomas is the favorite at +1100, just ahead of Rory McIlroy (+1200). This is the third tournament since the PGA Tour restarted its season, and is the first one in that stretch where McIlroy is not the favorite.
DraftKings Sportsbook released top ten betting splits Tuesday afternoon. It is primarily the big names, but we have a couple notable additions. Bubba Watson is sitting at +3500 and is tied for fourth in total handle. He finished 54th last year at the Travelers, but he has won it three times since 2010. Patrick Cantlay is making his first appearance since the Tour returned to play. He had two top five finishes, including the Shriners Hospitals for Children open in October and the Sentry Tournament of Champions in January. He was fifth on the leaderboard when THE PLAYERS Championship was cancelled. More notably, he has finished 15th in the Travelers each of the past two years.
