Novak Djokovic launched a tournament in spite of the Covid-19 pandemic, and now he is joining a group of people testing positive for the coronavirus.

Tennis start Novak Djokovic and his wife Jelena have tested positive for Covid-19 following a tournament he organized in Croatia. They join at least two players, one coach, and one trainer who already tested positive at the tournament.

Djokovic has been dismissive of the novel coronavirus and organized the tournament as ATP events were postponed during the pandemic. Djokovic claimed his event was following government guidelines, but by all accounts, that was not the case. There was hugging, fans with no masks, and other issues.

In spite of the positive tests of several participants, Djokovic returned to Belgrade without getting tested. He claimed he was not experience symptoms so there was no need. He changed his mind on testing, but claims he is still asymptomatic in spite of the positive test.

This all comes following his self-proclaimed anti-vaxxer belief and his claim that positive emotions can purify polluted water. I think we can all agree nobody should listen to anything Novak Djokovic has to say about anything ever again.
