DraftKings will have yet another six-game slate of Madden simulations on Monday. The Jacksonville Jaguars at New York Jets, Atlanta Falcons at Arizona Cardinals, New Orleans Saints at New York Giants, Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions, Seattle Seahawks at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Chargers all go heads up today. We break down the top plays at each position, and you can set your lineup here.
Quarterback
Russell Wilson, Seahawks ($8,000) at Buccaneers
Wilson’s rushing prowess keeps his floor high and upside super high while the Bucs have allowed 17 or more points in nine of their last ten games. He has only dipped into single digit DK points once in 26 simulation matchups and averages 57.3 rushing yards per game on the road. He’s as safe as you’ll get.
Running back
Tevin Coleman, 49ers ($5,800) at Chargers
Coleman is always hard to pass up at his price and production. If you’re looking to diversify. keep Coleman in your lineup and go contrarian elsewhere. He’s averaging 19.1 DK points on the road with 13 touchdowns in 13 games with 96 yards per game. Alvin Kamara just put up 30 DK points on the Chargers, so we should be safe with Coleman.
Alvin Kamara, Saints ($6,700) at Giants
Kamara will be a popular play, as he has been absolutely going off of late. In his last six games he has DK point totals of 30.3, 20.4, 45.8, 20.4, and 20.1, with one dud against the Panthers. The Giants defense has been getting waylaid in these simulations and with Kamara’s upside and receiving chops, he is a great play.
Wide Receiver
Davante Adams, Packers ($7,800) at Lions
Adams is the only good receiver on the Packers which hurts Aaron Rodgers, but keeps Adams consistent. He has 28.6, 12.5, and 23 DK points over his last three games while the Lions have been a poor defense overall.
D.J. Chark, Jaguars ($5,800) at Jets
Chark has been a stud in these Madden simulations, but has hit a little slump recently. The Jets have a knack for forcing fumbles but overall their secondary is weak and they can be beaten. A contrarian stack worth playing today is Gardner Minshew and Chark.
DK Metcalf, Seahawks ($4,300) at Buccaneers
Wilson gets a lot of his fantasy points on the ground and then splits up his passing numbers to numerous targets, so Metcalf is never a lock. But, Metcalf has been better on the road and has shown enough upside to be a good contrarian play in a stack with Wilson.
Tight End
Evan Engram, Giants ($5,600) vs. Saints
Engram has topped 12 DK points in 10 of his last 12 games. He’s also hit 20 DK points twice in his last three. The Saints are an up and down defense but can give up big games. An Engram, Daniel Jones, Golden Tate stack is worth exploring.
Defense/Special Teams
New York Jets ($2,200) vs. Jaguars
The Jets aren’t a great defense but they force fumbles at an amazing rate and are super cheap playing at home against a so-so offense.
