UFC wraps up its recent run of Las Vegas events this coming Saturday, June 27th at their Apex facility with UFC on ESPN 12. There will be a two week break from there as the organization heads to Abu Dhabi for a run of July cards.
This upcoming ESPN card is headlined by a lightweight contenders bout. Third ranked Dustin Poirier faces off against fifth ranked Dan Hooker. Poirier has not fought since Khabib Nurmagomedov submitted him in the third round of their September 2019 bout at UFC 242. He had won his previous four fights and is installed as a sizable -200 favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook. Hooker has won three straight and seven of his last eight, but has his work cut out for him as a +162 opening underdog.
DraftKings Sportsbook has posted odds for five of the current 12 fights on the card, with more odds to come. For the time being, the penultimate fight on the main card has the biggest favorite. Although Mike Perry has lost three of his last four fights, he comes into his bout with Mickey Gall at +220. Gall has alternated wins and losses his last four fights.
Philipe Lins vs. Tanner Boser is even odds, with both fighters installed at -112. Both are coming off unanimous decision losses in their last fight. Lins lost to Andre Arlovski last month at UFC Fight Night 171, while Boser lost to Ciryl Gane in December at UFC Fight Night 165.
