The Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals will play in a Madden sim SAturday at 2:00 p.m. ET. DraftKings will have a Showdown contest for the game, and we break down ideal lineup strategies here.
Captain’s Picks
Strong cases could be made for both quarterbacks in this matchup. Russell Wilson ($17,400) and Kyler Murray ($15,900) are both capable dual-threat quarterbacks that can score points by running or passing. Wilson has the better receiving corps and rating, but is considerably more expensive because of his overall rating. Neither team has had a star wideout, but if you believe one of Wilson’s could have a breakout game, he’s the pick. If not, I’d opt to go cheaper and captain Murray.
Flex Men
D.K. Metcalf ($6,600) has the size and speed to take advantage of his matchup, as he shouldn’t spend much time being covered by Patrick Peterson. He’s shown that he can explode with a couple long balls and is far from pricey. David Johnson ($2,800) has outshined Kenyan Drake in Arizona’s backfield as a third down back with reasonable PPR upside. Don’t expect a ton of ground yardage from either backfield, but Johnson could very well be the most productive running back.
