UPDATE, 7:02 p.m.: Marc-Andre Barriault wins by TKO at 4:50 of the second round. Piechota came in as a slight favorite at -125, but was dominated all fight by the Canadian that was +101. The TKO came with just seconds before the bell, but it was a good stoppage as Piechota wasn’t defending himself.

UPDATE, 1:50 p.m.: Oskar Piechota entered this week as the favorite against Marc-Andre Barriault, but the money has gone toward the underdog. At DraftKings Sportsbook, 64% of total bets and 76% of total handle is on Barriault.
The odds have closed and made one fight on tonight’s UFC on ESPN 11 card dead even, as Marc-Andre Barriault takes on Oskar Piechota on the undercard at middleweight.
Barriault is 0-3 in the UFC, losing by decision every time. He was 11-1 with eight knockouts on the independent circuit, but his contract status might need a win here. He lands 3.53 strikes per minute while absorbing 4.2, with only one takedown in his UFC career. But the bettors have moved him from an underdog to a dead-heat, with 59% of the bets and 78% of the handle on him to win so far.
Piechota is 11-3 overall, but all three losses have come in his last three fights. He’s been stopped by Gerald Meerschaert, Rodolfo Vieira, and Punahele Soriano from July of 2018 until now, and could also need a win to stay in the promotion.
