Editor’s Note: Tuesday’s Madden Stream will not be available on YouTube. Streams of simulated games are available on DraftKings inside the Game Center under the submitted lineup. Additional streams can be found inside the DK Live app, in DK Playbook articles and at DK Nation.
DraftKings will have yet another six-game slate of Madden simulations on Tuesday. The Tennessee Titans at Cincinnati Bengals, Philadelphia Eagles at Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs at Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills at Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings at Washington, Green Bay Packers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers will all face off. We break down the top plays at each position, and you can set your lineup here.
Quarterback
Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs ($8,200) at Dolphins
Mahomes costs more than he probably should based on his consistency, but he is still a top quarterback in these Madden simulations and gets to face the Dolphins weak pass defense. Mahomes has topped 21 DK points in six of his last eight matchups and gets a great one against the Dolphins today. Stacking Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce and even Damien Williams with Mahomes might make sense here.
Gardner Minshew, Jaguars ($5,400) vs. Eagles
Minshew gets a great matchup against the Eagles poor pass defense and comes at a nice discount if you want to put Tyreek Hill and Davante Adams in your lineup. Minshew has shown nice upside and some consistency, but is still a risky play overall. His 33 DK points against the Titans two games ago shows us that he can help you win tournaments and stacking him with D.J. Chark has high upside.
Running back
Damien Williams, Chiefs ($6,000) at Dolphins
Williams gets enough receiving work to work in a stack with Mahomes, but I’ll likely use him with Minshew due to the expense of trying to stack with Mahomes. Williams has tournament winning upside and is in a nice matchup with the Dolphins. He’s only missed double-digit DK points twice in his last 15 games.
Dalvin Cook, Vikings ($7,000) at Washington
I don’t love paying up for Cook, but if I go the Minshew route, I might be able to fit him into a lineup I like. He’s topped 13 DK points in 11 of his last 14 games and has enough upside to get you 20 to 35 DK points while keeping his floor high.
Wide Receiver
D.J. Chark, Jaguars ($5,800) vs. Eagles
Chark has been on fire and this matchup shouldn’t be a problem with the Eagles weak cornerbacks. Only Tyreek Hill has a higher DK points average while Chark has only dipped below double-digit points twice in 18 games.
Davante Adams, Packers ($7,800) at Buccaneers
Adams gets a great matchup and has seven 20-plus DK points games on the season. He is easily the best receiver in Green Bay by real life and Madden standards, making for a sure target hog. He has four or more receptions in his last six games, so you aren’t getting much more safety to go along with strong upside.
DeVante Parker, Dolphins ($6,300) vs. Chiefs
Parker isn’t consistent, but he has had some huge games in these simulations and a home game against the Chiefs has some room for scoring on both sides. Over his last three matchups he’s hit 18.9, 44.8 and 26.2 DK points while doing very little in the games before then.
Tight End
James O’Shaughnessy, Jaguars ($3,500) vs. Eagles
O’Shaughnessy will likely be heavily rostered at his bottom of the barrel price, but I’m on board, especially in a stack with Minshew. O’Shaughnessy has hit double-digits three games in a row and 11 times in 18 matchups. At his price, we just want those double-digits.
Defense/Special Teams
Minnesota Vikings ($2,900) at Washington
The Vikings have topped eight DK points in five of the last six games and have 36 sacks, 26 forced turnovers, and four defensive touchdowns in 19 games. I will never not pick the Vikings if they are available.
