UPDATE: Full betting splits for Byrd-Pitolo
A light heavyweight moves down to middleweight after a pair of losses when Charles Byrd takes on Maki Pitolo on Saturday, June 6th at UFC 250 at the UFC Apex arena on Saturday night in Las Vegas.
Byrd 10-6 in his MMA career, but 1-2 since joining the UFC roster in March of 2018, and is coming off two straight losses. With this fight he’ll move down to 170 lbs. from 185, where he hopes to add to his eight career stoppages at the lighter class. He’ll mostly look to fight on his feet, averaging just 1.26 takedowns per 15 minutes in the octagon.
Pitolo will be in his second UFC fight, coming off a loss to unanimous decision loss to Callan Potter at UFC 243 last October. He’s 12-5 as a pro, and nine of his wins are by stoppage.
