The Philadelphia Eagles and Las Vegas Raiders will face off in a Madden sim Friday at 4:00 p.m. ET. We break down the ideal Showdown lineup strategy for the DFS contest. You can set your lineup and play in the DraftKings contest before kickoff.

Captain’s Picks

Zach Ertz, Eagles, TE vs. Raiders ($12,600)

Both quarterbacks going today are worth trying to fit into your lineup, as this game has two poor secondaries. But, Carson Wentz and Derek Carr haven’t shown the upside of Ertz. They’re both safer, as their DK points floors are higher, but Ertz has two 31 DK points games over his last seven while Carr and Wentz have two combined over this long sims season.

Derek Carr, Raiders, QB vs. Eagles ($15,900)

Of the two quarterbacks, Carr is my favorite play at home against a weak Eagles pass defense. We’re looking for a shootout here and there’s a good chance the Raiders and Josh Jacobs will have trouble running the ball on the Eagles tough run defense. Wentz is a good play, but Miles Sanders could be a factor on the ground.

FLEX Men

Darren Waller, Raiders, TE vs. Eagles ($7,600)

Waller has similar upside to Ertz but hasn’t been as consistent. He has five games over 23 DK points and a 27.9 DK points game three games ago. He’s risky, but he’s a player who can win you a GPP here.

DeSean Jackson, Eagles, WR vs. Raiders ($6,800)

Jackson has hit 24 and 18 DK points in his last two, but had four single-digit scores before those. This matchup is too good not to give him another shot at an upside game, especially at a good price.
