Real Madrid and Valencia have a La Liga match set for Thursday at 4:00 p.m. ET. Real Madrid is only four points back from second place Barcelona in the standings while Valencia is in eighth place. DraftKings will have showdown contests available, and we break down some ideal picks below. You can set your lineups here.

Captain’s Picks

Valencia hasn’t played well against midfielders, and Madrid has quite a few talented ones worth considering. One of the top options is Toni Kroos ($14,400), who tallied 16.4 DKFP in his first game back from the break earlier this month. He’s one of the most well-rounded players you’ll find. His mix of passing and ability to score is hard to come by.

A less conventional option to consider is Marcelo ($10,500). He might not score often like he did in his last game, but he’s an ambitious defender who cracks double-digits in fantasy points regularly. He’s not afraid go be aggressive in his pursuit of goals but also whips in crosses.

Flex Plays

Karim Benzema ($9,800) is the priciest flex play available and leads real Madrid’s stacked team in scoring with 14 goals. Although he doesn’t have much value without a score, he can still light it up. Rodrigo Moreno ($8,400) has three goals to his name and leads Valencia in assists (7) as well. He got off to a strong start this month by netting a goal and creates chances as well.
