UPDATE: Saturday betting splits for Barriault-Piechota

Two unranked middleweights looking to find the Top-15 charts face off when Quebec’s Marc-Andre Barriault and Poland’s Oskar Piechota get in the octagon on Saturday night at UFC on ESPN 11 in Las Vegas.

Barriault is 0-3 in the UFC, losing thrice by decision since joining the promotion in May of last year. He was 11-1 with eight knockouts on the independent circuit, but his lack of success might have him in trouble for his contract without a win here. He lands 3.53 strikes per minute while absorbing 4.2, and has only one completed takedown in his UFC career.

Piechota is 11-3 overall, but all three losses have come in his last three fights. He’s been stopped by Gerald Meerschaert, Rodolfo Vieira, and Punahele Soriano from July of 2018 until now, and needs a win possibly to stay in the promotion. He lands 3.19 strikes per minute of octagon time, and had five submissions and five knockouts before his recent skid.
