Asian League of Legends continues to move on with daily games from China’s LPL and Korea’s LCK. Here is a look at the players to target for your roster from DraftKings’ mixed slate on Friday morning, which gets underway at 4:00 a.m. ET.
Set your lineups here: LOL $100K Shock Blast [$25K to 1st] (LPL-LCK)
Captain
Lwx ($12,000)
Wink ($12,600) is also a tempting choice but his price is a bit too high and could stifle your other options. Lwx, at $12,000, is a much better value choice. He has led FunPlus Phoenix this split with 4.4 kills per game. He has a kill participation rate of 10 as well with a creep score per game of 302.8. There’s no reason why he can’t repeat that.
Other to consider: Wink ($12,600)
Top
Rascal ($5,400)
Gen.G’s Rascal fits the bill in almost all metrics. He is inexpensive and provides an adequate return for that price. In the spring split of the LCK, he averaged 2.34 kills and 5.11 assists with a death rate of 1.86. That earned him a KDA of 4. For a top laner, these are admirable numbers.
Other to consider: Khan ($6,200)
Jungler
Pyosik ($6,600)
You’re just setting up your powerful categories with Pyosik’s selection. His inclusion will increase your average salary remaining per player. He is coming off a decent spring split, in which he had 2.61 kills, 1.83 deaths and 6.93 assists per player. That all-round efficiency built his KDA to 5.23, one of the highest KDAs for a jungler in the LCK.
Other to consider: Tian ($7,000)
Mid
Bdd ($6,800)
You won’t get the same kill rate in the LCK compared to the LPL. However, you will get a lower death rate because of the difference in pace of play. Bdd had just 3.36 kills per game in 44 games in the spring split. But he still had a laudable KDA of 6.73 with just 1.36 deaths per game. There is immense value in his price as well.
Others to consider: Fenfen ($8,200), Doinb ($7,800)
ADC
Wink ($8,400)
Despite his high price, Wink needs to be in your roster in some capacity, either as Captain or ADC. My pick would be ADC because there is differential value to be extracted. He has carried off from where he left off in spring. In five games in summer so far, he has averages of 4.5 kills and 4.88 assists per game with a CSPM of 9.72.
Other to consider: Deft ($7,400)
Support
ShiauC ($5,800)
Support players can often be make-or-break roles in League of Legends fantasy. So if you have the money to spend, look at a high-performing support player. ShiauC has started off in middling fashion, with 0.88 kills and 7 assists per game. When eStar picks up its pace, ShaiuC’s production will increase proportionately.
Team
eStar ($5,000)
It’s true that eStar has not started this split the way they would have wanted to. They have lost two of three series so far but have won four of eight maps to date. LNG Esports has made a good start but in terms of personnel and experience, eStar is much better positioned.
