The Baltimore Ravens and Washington will face off in a Madden sim Tuesday at 10:00 p.m. ET. We break down the ideal Showdown lineup strategy for the DFS contest that will be played in the snow. You can set your lineup and play in the DraftKings contest before kickoff.

Captain’s Pick

Dwayne Haskins ($15,600)

This is a very top-heavy contest and most of the weight comes from the QB position. Haskins is probably going to be lower owned than Lamar Jackson ($19,200) and will cost us significantly less. Really, Jackson just has a safer floor given his ability to run. Haskins has been really impressive in Madden sims with plenty of notable games over 20+ DKFP. I think the small amount of leverage and savings we get at Captain are worth going Haskins over the MVP.

Fade of the Game

Derrius Guice ($12,600 CP)

Guice has the least amount of value on a fantasy point per dollar basis, so therefore he gets the ugly fade label. I hate doing this to players like Guice in these simulations. He’s a RB1 who could essentially pop at any time. The issue is this is a tough matchup against the Ravens and Guice rarely outplays his salary.

Value Picks

The value is very clearly right in front of us. Two WRs on Washington stand out being as they’re the 3rd and 4th highest fantasy point producers in the entire contest. Paul Richardson Jr. ($5,600) continues to be undervalued and overplayed. He hasn’t popped in a while, but the consistency is there and we aren’t paying a ton for a legit WR1 in Madden. Trey Quinn ($3,600) is the guy behind P-Rich and is honestly more of a 1B to Richardon’s 1A for Haskins. Quinn is the safer option for the main reason that he’s going to run you $2K less. You’re wondering where the Baltimore values are? No clue man, let me know when you find ‘em.
