UPDATE: Saturday betting splits for Blaydes-Volkov

The main event of UFC on ESPN 11 this Saturday are two Top 10 heavyweights looking for a shot at Stipe Miocic’s title when Curtis Blaydes takes on Alexander Volkov in Las Vegas at the UFC Apex arena.

Blaydes is ranked #3 in the division, and has an MMA record of 13-2, and 8-2 in the UFC. His loss to Francis Ngannou in November of 2018 was his only loss since April of 2016, and he often wins with power and authority: He’s got 10 TKO/KO’s in those 13 career victories. The 29-year-old from Elevation Fight Team stopped Junior dos Santos in January at 1:06 of the second round.

The veteran Volkov is 31-7, and 5-1 in the UFC coming off a decision win over Greg Hardy in December. He has 23 career stoppages, but just two inside the black octagon, and is ranked #7 in the promotion.. His fight with Derrick Lewis was stopped with just 11 seconds remaining in his only loss since June of 2015.
