Captain
Allu ($12,600)
Allu’s quickly rising stock is not a flash in the pan or an irrational vibe. He has been ENCE’s best player, from a production perspective, for a while now. His proficiency with the AWP has been unparalleled. Against Faze in ENCE’s previous game, Allu had 54 kills and 55 deaths. Several of those kills came with the AWP. He might not be sought after as much as some others on this slate, but another 50-kill game isn’t overextending your expectations.
Others to consider: Elige ($13,500)
High-priced flex options
Elige ($9,000)
After two sensational days in the DreamHack Masters, Liquid was no match for Furia in the final of the tournament. That loss culminated one of the best weeks for Liquid this year. They’ve been through a lot but they have bounced back in spirited fashion, led by Elige’s effectiveness. He has been the killing leader of this Liquid team right through this turnaround period.
Hunter- ($8,800)
G2 has had a tragic few days of CS:GO. In the final of the DreamHack Masters, they blew a 2-0 lead to BIG to collapse to a 3-2 defeat. They were then ahead, 15-8, against Vitality in their previous Blast matchup and choked under pressure to lose that map in overtime. It’s now Hunter-’s job to catalyze change as quickly as Wednesday when they face another quality opponent in ENCE.
Brehze ($8,200)
Brehze has dominated Evil Geniuses’ kill charts since the turn of the year. He led EG to the top of the rankings at one point as well. After a few days off, EG should return to pro CS:GO with a bang. Brehze, who has averaged 57.6 DKFP, should lead that dominance.
Others to consider: Mantuu ($8,200)
Value flex options
Nawwk ($7,800)
You can’t split Nawwk and Plopski ($8,600) on this Ninjas in Pyjamas team. They’ve both matched each other, kill for kill, damage for damage. That has held NiP in good stead in a fine run of form that has included wins against Astralis and Vitality. However, the difference in price between Nawwk and Plopski is quite high ($800). That’s where Nawwk’s value lies on this slate.
Naf ($8,000)
You could argue that a price of $8,000 shouldn’t be a value pick, but the key metric for value is the risk against reward and price against return debate. For $8,000, Naf should provide a return much higher than his price. He has been one of Liquid’s most important offensive cogs, majorly playing in Elige’s shadow. He has his own presence though, which should be evident on Wednesday.
Others to consider: Cerq ($7,400), Nexa ($7,000).
