EPL Return Plan
After the English Premier League (EPL) suspended its season on March 13 due to the coronavirus, a plan was successfully formulated into place to bring back the league on June 17. As with most sports returning, no fans will be in attendance, which is, unfortunately, becoming the new normal in 2020. For fans in the United Kingdom, the league shareholders did approve a proposal that would broadcast all remaining matches. The action will return with Aston Villa vs. Sheffield United and Manchester City vs. Arsenal as the first matches taking place, followed by a full round of matches between June 19-21. As it currently stands, the EPL has 92 fixtures remaining in the season.

- Corner flags, benches, match ball and goal posts will be cleaned prior and at the conclusion of a match.
- A maximum of 300 people will be allowed in the stadium during matches.
- Players are encouraged to not spit on the pitch during matches and must practice social distancing during goal celebrations
