How the public is betting on Charles Rosa vs. Kevin Aguilar for UFC Fight Night tonight

The last fight of the night where everyone made weight and did what they were supposed to should be a good one

10:56 p.m. UPDATE: Charles Rosa wins by split decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29). It was really close, but it seemed like the right decision. A very close fight where both guys were on their feet most of the night, and Rosa actually landed less strikes 56-64, but he was 16-4 on leg strikes, and some of them were pretty powerful.

3:10 p.m. UPDATE: DraftKings Sportsbook posted their latest fight day betting splits. The public likes the favorite, with Aguilar (-190) getting 64 percent of handle and 59 percent of total bets.

Charles Rosa just lost a month ago, but gets right back in the ring as an underdog again when he takes on Kevin Aguilar at UFC on ESPN 10 tonight live in Las Vegas.

Rosa dropped a unanimous decision to Bryce Mitchell on May 9th in Jacksonville as part of the UFC’s first card following the Covid-19 shutdown. He’s 12-4 as an MMA professional, with 11 of those wins via stoppage including eight submissions. He’ll look to fight on the mat, with 2.93 takedowns per 15 minutes of octagon time, and 3.85 significant strikes per minute.

Augilar brings the outstanding nicknake of “The Angel of Death” and his 17-3 career mark as a pro is excellent, but he’s lost his last two fights to fall to 2-2 in the UFC. He’s a stand-up fighter with 10 career KO’s, averages 4.8 scoring punches per minute, and rates well to defend Rosa’s shoots with an 89% takedown defense.

The most favored way by bettors for Aguilar to win this fight is via the judges, which is +110 to be the outcome. Rosa’s best chance is also considered on the cards, but he’s +375 to have it happen that way.
