12:11 a.m. UPDATE: Cynthia Calvillo wins by unanimous decision (49-46, 49-46, 48-47). Despite Eye having the reach and power advantage, once it got on the ground Calvillo was terrific on the mat. She won control time on the mat 7:46 to 0:00.

By the time referee Herb Dean told them to fight, Calvillo was a -150 favorite on the money line.

3:10 p.m. UPDATE: DraftKings Sportsbook posted their latest fight day betting splits. The main event featured a fairly even amount of betting much of the week, but after a tough weigh-in for Eye, the public is moving on Calvillo. 59 percent of handle and 54 percent of bets are on Calvillo, who has improved from -110 to -134, while Eye is +110.

Whereas Cynthia Calvillo weighed with no problem at 126 pounds, a lot easier to do when moving up from strawweight to flyweight for the fight, Jessica Eye missed weight yet again by failing to reach the 126 lbs. limit. She was just four ounces over, but could barely stand up as she got off the scales.

The #1 contender in the weight class will forfeit 20% of her purse for the fight to her opponent, and the tenth-ranked Calvillo was the beneficiary not just in her bank account, but on the odds board as well. Before the fight, Eye and Calvillo were both -110 on what bookmakers had as a dead-even fight. Now Calvillo has shifted to a decent-sized favorite, and Eye is into plus money.
