The schedule for Friday’s six-game slate of simulated Madden games is set. DraftKings will have a classic contests going, and we break down ideal picks for the all-day slate below. You can set your lineup here.
Quarterback
Studs
Philip Rivers, Chargers ($7,000) vs. Buccaneers
Rivers has two wideouts averaging more than 17 DKFP per game and is up against one of the worst secondaries in the slate. Only Tom Brady has thrown for more touchdowns in this slate. This is one of the best matchups you’ll find.
Value
Jacoby Brissett, Colts ($6,300) vs. Eagles
Brisett is one of four quarterbacks averaging more than 18 DKFP per game and is up against the Eagles’ secondary. Hilton is one of the most elusive wideouts in the game, and Eric Ebron has over 100 receptions. Brissett has a limited ground game behind him and will likely hurl up a ton of passes.
Running back
Studs
Miles Sanders, Eagles ($6,200) vs. Colts
Sanders has the second highest DKFP average (17) in the slate. He’s scored more receiving touchdowns (4) than any other back has rushed for 10 as well. He’s against the weakest scoring defense in the slate. If he gets involved early, he should receive a steady stream of touches throughout the game.
Value
Nyheim Hines, Colts ($4,500) vs. Eagles
Hines has finally gotten a bump in price and is no longer under $4,000, but he’s sill has plenty of value. He produces like a RB1 a a good chunk of his production comes from PPR, so he shouldn’t be hindered too much by the Eagles’ stout defensive line.
Wide receiver
Studs
T.Y. Hilton, Colts ($7,500) vs. Eagles
Hilton has scored more touchdowns (16) than all but one wideout in the slate and is head and shoulders above the other receivers on his team. His route running can be rivaled by few and none of the Eagles’ cornerbacks should be skilled enough to cover him one on one.
Value
Mike Williams, Chargers ($5,700) vs. Buccaneers
Williams is the other player with 16 touchdowns in the slate. His price is no longer below $5,000, but he still seems like the beast value play at receiver. He regularly returns 3x value and is a cheat code to be honest. He’s outperformed Keenan Allen at this point in the sims season and will likely be rostered at a very high percentage agains the Buccaneers’ poor defense.
Tight End
Studs
George Kittle, 49ers ($6,500) vs. Panthers
Kittle is the cream of the crop at tight end and has top-notch numbers across the board at his position. Even though his DKFP average (15.1) isn’t the highest mark in the slate, he has some of the best hands in the game and is an elite red zone threat.
Value
Ben Watson, Patriots ($4,700) vs. Giants
No tight end has more receptions (128) than Watson. He has the highest DKFP (15.7) in the slate and remains a bargain week in and week out. His price will likely rise more before long, so it’s best to get in one him while he’s performing like a star for cheap.
Defense/Special Teams
Studs
Patriots ($3,000) vs. Giants
It’s hard to pass on one of the better secondaries in the game against a rookie quarterback with an overall rating of 70. He is accurate on short passes, but dealing with Stephon Gilmore and the McCourty twins should be a challenge.
Value
49ers ($2,400) vs. Panthers
The 49ers have a top-notch defensive line and secondary. Christian McCaffrey has been ridiculously inconsistent for the best running back in the game, and Cam Newton has thrown for the fewest yards in the slate.
