The NASCAR Cup series races midweek today live from “The Paper Clip” at Martinsville Speedway for today’s Blue-Emu 500.

Though there won’t be any fans in attendance at the shortest track on the circuit, you can catch all of the action at 7:00 p.m. ET on Fox. DraftKings of course will have plenty of DFS contests for today’s action, so we break down some of the best picks to round out your roster below, and you can set your lineups here.

Modest Sleepers

Ryan Blaney ($8,400)

It’s Martinsville, which means you’re making 1000 very, very tight turns to win the race. There’s not a place on the schedule where track position matters more. And Blaney is going to have clean air and a quality car when the green flag drops as he’s on the pole. His last four races are three Top 10’s, and a wreck to finish last after he led 60 laps at Bristol. How’s he this cheap? You could easily have 70 laps led for 18+ fantasy points before anyone has to pit today.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. ($6,700)

It’s so tough to gain track position at Martinsville, but if anyone can do it it’s a guy that drives with no regard for sheet metal. Stenhouse won’t be afraid to get physical in the turns to advance, and though he’s starting 18th, there might be value on him to advance through the pack. But he’s so often the swing driver on a roster, and likely either finishes Top 10 or wrecks.

Deep Sleepers

Full disclosure: It’s Martinsville and there’s not much value downstream because so much of the pricing is based on track position.

Michael McDowell ($5,100)

Need a guy to fill out your roster that won’t wreck and could pick up a few place points? We’ve got him! McDowell has improved on his starting position in four of his last five races. Outside of a wreck at the Charlotte midweek race, he’s averaged 35.5 fantasy points per outing since May 20th. He’ll start 29th today with a chance to pick up lots of track position. Ride him!
