In a preliminary bout at UFC 249 in Jacksonville tonight, Ryan Spann from Memphis, Tennessee takes on Sam Alvey in a light heavyweight division fight.

“Superman” Spann is undefeated since arriving in UFC at 3-0, and with an overall MMA record of 17-5. “Smile’n” Alvey turned 34 on Wednesday, and is a cagefighting veteran with a record of 33-13. He made his debut in UFC in 2014, but has lost his last three fights.

Span is a huge favorite at -420 to stay flawless in the black octagon, and both 79% of the bets and the handle are on him finding a victory. There’s also an expectation this fight doesn’t go the distance, with a stoppage before the end of three rounds costing $225 to win $100. If the veteran Alvey was able to find a submission, he’d pay a whopping 15-1 for the victory of a fight between two expected strikers.
