The Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys will face off in a Madden sim Thursday at 10:00 p.m. ET. The sim will be set to include rain, as opposed to the normal sunny conditions. We break down the ideal Showdown lineup strategy for the DFS contest. You can set your lineup and play in the DraftKings contest before kickoff.

Captain’s Picks

Ezekiel Elliott ($14,700)

Zeek hasn’t steamrolled the simulation fantasy football scene so to speak, but there’s plenty to like in his production. He’s got over 17 fantasy points in four of six games and the Seahawks defense is pretty weak — especially away from Seattle. I could see Zeek eating in this contest and his price is actually pretty decent given the type of ceiling we’re working with here.

DK Metcalf ($9,600)

For a player priced under $10K, Metcalf is certainly putting up points like somebody who should be priced at $15K. His past two games look like a combined nine receptions for 297 yards and three TDs. Are you kidding me? Did I just type that out? Where am I? Metcalf is under $10K. At captain. After those two games. The Cowboys defense isn’t the Patriots defense — which Metcalf torched.

FLEX Men

Michael Gallup ($6,200)

Gallup is one of the many players who performed during the 2019 season but can’t quite get it going in sim land. Gallup only has one game of double-digit fantasy points in his simulations so far. He’s getting looks though. Four receptions in each of the past two games. If he can get to 4-6 catches, we’re looking good at this price.

Randall Cobb ($4,400)

You know I like cheap WRs and how can I say no to a former Green Bay Packer? Cobb doesn’t get a ton of targets from Dak Prescott but it’s enough to do some damage with. Cobb should get a good matchup against a shaky Seahawks secondary, so if there’s a lot of points on the Dallas side, I want as many names as possible.
