You should have all your mise en place in place for tonight’s DraftKings Sportsbook Chopped picks contest around the May 5th episode of the popular Food Network show. And while the chefs on the show have to sweat it out to win cash, you can be a winner just by predicting what happens!

Tonight’s episode is title “Beat The Judge: Marc” and contestants will compete against frequent judge Marc Murphy, executive chef of such NYC haunts as Landmarc, Ditch Plains, and more. Here’s the listed description for tonight’s show:

Three champions are on a mission to beat Chopped judge Marc Murphy and prove they’re top-level, no-nonsense contenders in the competitive cooking world. The champs get escargot in the first basket but have to move a lot faster than a snail’s pace to get amazing appetizers done in 20 minutes. Then a superspicy surprise awaits the chefs in the entree basket. Finally, Marc must outsmart and outperform the last remaining champ to claim his first victory in the Chopped kitchen.

Sometimes the show descriptions are a bit more informative, but we get no help with this one. So let’s make some picks with some of the 10 questions you’ll need to answer correctly to win up to $1000.

“Will any contestant forget a basket ingredient?”

* Yes

* No

These are all returning chefs that have competed previously, so they aren’t forgetting an ingredient. The rookies might do this under tv pressure, but not the pros.

“Will any judge use the term “undercooked” or “raw” when grading the entree round?”

* Yes

* No

When you’re cooking with just 20 or 30 minutes from concept to plate, your eyes often get bigger than your skills. Undercooked happens plenty. Especially with escargot involved, it’s very possible to prep that poorly because overcooking is worse.

What will the appetizer basket feature (1st round)?

* Seafood

* Beef

* Poultry

* Pork

* Two or More of the Above

* None of the Above

We’re cheating here, as the show description lets us know we’re getting escargot! This is why you do your research friends!

“How many contestants will use the ice cream machine?”

* Zero

* One

* Two or more

Since there aren’t any listed ingredients that would lend themselves in the description to ice cream, and Murphy is more known for his Mediterranean style (we went to his Grey Salt concept and few years ago and loved it!), we’ll go with something non-frozen dairy across the board here.
