Lines for Opening Day of the Korea Baseball Organization

It’s Opening Day for baseball, but it just might feel a little different than usual.

The Korea Baseball Organization kicks off today, and thanks to a brand new TV deal, one of the games will be available on ESPN at 1 a.m. ET tonight. The NC Dinos head to the Samsung Lions for the first of a three-game set tonight, and that’s just one of five games in action. Baseball Tonight’s Karl Ravech and Eduardo Perez will be on the call from Bristol, Connecticut, and the Dinos are a -143 favorite tonight following their fifth-place finish in the KBO standings last season.

Also tonight the Kiwoom Heroes face the Kia Tigers, and the Tigers have a new manager in five-time MLB All-Star and former National League Manager of The Year Matt Williams. The Tigers are considered the Yankees of the KBO, and finishing out of the playoffs last season forced a housecleaning throughout the organization. Kiwoom is favored tonight on the road as a -130 favorite, but +135 on the run line.
