The Cleveland Browns and New York Giants will face off in a Madden sim Monday at 4:00 p.m. ET. We break down the ideal Showdown lineup strategy for the DFS contest. You can set your lineup and play in the DraftKings contest before kickoff.
Daniel Jones ($14,700)
Danny Dimes hasn’t done much with his legs in this contest, but the matchup vs. the Browns could change that. The Browns have been shutout in back-to-back games, including last sim to the lowly Cardinals. Kyler Murray crushed it on the ground with two rushing TDs vs. Cleveland. I’m not saying Jones is going to duplicate that, but he’s got the potential to do damage in the run game.
Darius Slayton ($9,600)
Darius has been slaying these simulations for the Giants. He’s easily the No. 1 WR on the Giants despite being the third string on the depth chart. Slayton’s coming off another monster game with 10 receptions for 111 yards and a TD vs. the Chargers over the weekend. That was his second game over 25 fantasy points in the past three. Slayton is a bit more appealing in the FLEX, but I’m willing to Captain him anyway.
David Njoku ($7,400)
If anyone on the Browns offense is worth owning, it’s Njoku. In that last simulation when the Browns were shut out, Njoku still caught eight passes for 85 yards. He’s been a pretty consistent option for Baker Mayfield, who has been pretty awful in simland. My guess is Njoku will have decent ownership, but most of it will go toward the big guns on the Giants.
Damion Ratley ($3,200)
Believe it or not, the Browns’ second-best option at WR behind OBJ has been Ratley, who is coming off another double-digit fantasy outing. In fact, Ratley has split his box scores with double-digit outputs in simulations. His price hasn’t gone up much and he’s a great value play. The floor is just too enticing, though I’d expect Ratley could be chalky.
