Best lineup strategy for Washington vs. Jaguars Madden simulation Showdown

Leonard Fournette has given the Jaguars a steady source of offense and is a quality captain’s candidate for Monday’s Washington-Jaguars simulation.

The Washington Redskins and Jacksonville Jaguars will face off in a Madden sim Monday. We break down the ideal Showdown lineup strategy for the matchup’s DFS contest. You can set your lineup and play at DraftKings.

Captain’s Picks

Leonard Fournette, Jaguars, RB ($14,100)

Fournette is arguably the most consistent running back we’ve seen. He’s been piling up double-digit fantasy point outings and has remained a staple for his team’s offense in every simulation he’s been a part of. He hasn’t exploded for a ridiculous performance yet, but he can give you a sturdy placeholder in the captain’s spot.

Dwayne Haskins, Washington, QB ($16,200)

Haskins is Washington’s most productive player. He’s the best option because he spreads the ball to a plethora of targets. He’s occasionally outdone by a wide receiver, but Jacksonville doesn’t have the kind of defensive backs that can shut him out. The Jaguars’ defensive line could be a factor that affects Haskins’ success though.

Flex Men

Josh Lambo, Jaguars, K ($3,800)

Lambo is Jacksonville’s third highest rated player. His kicking power (96) and kicking accuracy (95) is elite. If you want to take the road less traveled, take a chance on Lambo. If he gets chances he’ll make them. Maybe he’ll bang a few through the uprights from distance.

Jordan Reed, Washington, TE ($7,800)

Reed is Washington’s highest rated pass catcher but is less expensive than Terry McLaurin. If you can get a top target at this price, you should go for it. Previously existing injuries aren’t a factor and Reed has consistently finished with double-digit fantasy points.
