UPDATE: Latest odds, betting splits for Cejudo-Cruz
In the co-main event of UFC 249, two-division champion and former Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo takes on Dominick Cruz for the UFC Bantamweight title.
Cejudo is one of the dominant stars in the lighter weight classes in UFC, with a 15-2 record that includes eight wins by decision and seven by knockout. With both the bantamweight and flyweight gold on his arm at present, he’s got the pedigree in both the octagon and on the mat, and he’s clearly in shape for this test:
I really don’t know the difference between being in camp or Covid-19 quarantine. But I will say this, I’m out to seek and destroy! #andstill @neuroforceone pic.twitter.com/YlzVfOvbdM

Cruz is as known for his unorthodox style as his long record of injuries. His 22-2 record speaks to his elite talent, but he’s also been on the shelf for three and a half years heading into this fight, where he serves as a replacement for Jose Aldo. Despite winning 13 in a row before falling to Cody Garbrandt by decision for the bantamweight belt in his last outing in December of 2016, he’ll be an underdog for both ring rust and health reasons.
Though very popular as an analyst in MMA, Cruz’s long layoff and age of 35 will both be working against him Saturday night.
