Top NFL Targets at each position for 6-game slate on May 31st

DraftKings will have yet another six-game slate of Madden simulations on Sunday. We break down the top plays at each position, and you can set your lineup here.

Quarterback

Russell Wilson, Seahawks ($7,800) at Dolphins

Wilson has been on a roll with five straight games of 21 or more DK points and has an average of 20.7 DK points through 18 simulations. He’s the most consistent quarterback going on this slate and he faces an extremely weak Dolphins pass defense.

Jameis Winston, Buccaneers ($6,300) at Colts

Winston isn’t as consistent as Wilson but he has good upside and is facing a poor Colts secondary. He just went on the road and put up 25 and 30 DK points on two good pass defenses, the Saints and the Patriots, and has more upside in this matchup.

Running back

Miles Sanders, Eagles ($5,600) vs. Lions

Detroit has recently put up huge games to Derrick Henry and Phillip Lindsay and now faces Miles Sanders, who has been a strong player in these simulations. He’s coming off a rough patch, but has tremendous upside, as seen in his four touchdown, 58.7 DK points game against the Cardinals in Week 15.

Todd Gurley, Rams ($6,300) vs. Broncos

Gurley has been one of the more consistent running backs in the Madden simulations, with seven games with 13 or more DK points in the last ten. He sees enough work through the air to help keep his floor high and the Broncos run defense isn’t great.

Wide Receiver

D.K. Metcalf, Seahawks ($4,600) at Dolphins

I’ll likely stack Wilson and Metcalf in this slate, as Metcalf has hit double-digit DK points in his last four games with three straight touchdowns.

T.Y. Hilton, Colts ($6,900) vs. Buccaneers

Hilton ghets a great matchup here and we know his upside is great as a deep threat. He has ten games of 15 or more DK points in his last 15 games, with 37 and 45 DK points games in the mix. This matchup is set up well for one of his high-scoring affairs.

Brandin Cooks, Rams ($5,000) vs. Denver

Cooks has an average of 21.6 DK points per game over the last five games. He’s been inconsistent, but not of late and at $5,000, he makes for a strong value play on Sunday.

Paul Richardson, Washington ($3,900) at Titans

Richardson is a strong play if you need value, as he is inconsistent, but has great upside with three games of 17 DK points or more in his last three. In that stretch, he also has a game with just 2.2 DK points, but since we’re working with tournaments here, he’s a strong play.

A.J. Brown, Titans ($5,900) vs. Washington

Brown is another good tournament play, as he is inconsistent but has strong upside and a good matchup against Washington. Over his last five games he has 30.7 and 28.6 DK points games and could bring that again in this easy matchup.

Tight End

O.J. Howard, Buccaneers ($4,800) at Colts

Can Howard have three huge games in a row? I can’t say, but we know his upside is real, as he’s put up 37.6 and 33 DK points in his last two matchups against the Saints and Patriots. He’ll probably be heavily rostered in this one, so I could see

Eric Ebron, Colts ($5,400) vs. Buccaneers

Ebron has 11 games in double-digit DK points compared to six below that arbitrary threshold. He also gets a strong matchup which should help him close in on his upside this Sunday.

Defense/Special Teams

Minnesota Vikings ($2,700) vs. Steelers

The Vikings defense is one of my favorites every time they play, as they have good upside due to their high number of forced turnovers and sacks each game. The Steelers aren’t the optimal team to target, but in these simulations there really aren’t perfect teams to attack with your D/ST.
