Best, sleeper options to consider for NASCAR DFS at Bristol on Sunday

Kyle Busch could start picking up some steam at Bristol Motor Speedway, as he’s had a ton of success there in recent years.

The NASCAR Cup Series’ Supermarket Heroes 500 is set to begin Sunday at 3:30 p.m. ET at Bristol Motor Speedway. DraftKings has DFS contests available for the race, and we break down some ideal picks and sleepers. You can set your lineup here.

Best Bets

Kyle Busch ($12,500)

Busch is the priciest option in the contest despite getting off to a slow year. While he hasn’t won yet this year, he’s been dominant ad Bristol since 2018. He’s won two of his last four finishes at the track and has notched three top five finishes during that span. This could be the race that puts him back on track. He leads the field with eight career wins at Bristol.

Chase Elliott. ($11,300)

Elliott winning back-to-back races seems difficult, but he just might be able to pull it off. He can carry momentum from Charlotte Motor Speedway and has the lowest average finishing position (11.5) in the field at Bristol. He hasn’t competed in as many races (8) as some other drivers, but he’s consistently had one of the best cars on the track since NASCAR resumed its season.

Sleeper Picks

Matt DiBenedetto ($7,100)

DiBenedetto looked great for stretches of the Alsco Uniforms 500 and will be returning to a track where he’s had some success in the past. He led for 93 laps at last year’s Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race before being passed by Denny Hamlin down the stretch. While he didn’t win, he finished in second and notched a new career high in the NASCAR Cup Series. Could he channel some of the same brilliance that got him so close to a victory? I think it’s worth a shot.

Kurt Busch ($8,300)

Busch has raced at Bristol 38 times — a mark only Kevin Harvick can match. He’s had a strong season so far with four top seven finishes in his last five starts. His experience could come into play and help him get his first win of the season.
