Best lineup strategy for Browns vs. Jets Madden simulation Showdown

Odell Beckham Jr. and Baker Mayfield should be hard to handle in Friday’s Browns-Jets Madden sim.

The Cleveland Browns and New York Jets will face off in a Friday Madden sim at 2:00 p.m. ET. We break down the ideal Showdown lineup strategy for the DFS contests centered around the game. You can set your lineup and at DraftKings.

Captain’s Picks

Odell Beckham Jr., WR, Browns ($15,300)

The Jets have a star safety in Jamal Adams, but none of their cornerbacks have ratings above 80. New York has given up huge numbers to star wideouts this season, and Beckham’s speed (96), agility (98), and spectacular catching (99) certainly makes him a tough cover.

Baker Mayfield, QB, Browns ($15,900)

Mayfield will be up against a below average secondary and has one of the best receiving duos in the game at his disposal in Jarvis Landry and Beckham. Both players have the potential to score more than 20 fantasy points and can bolster Mayfield’s upside.

Flex Men

Robby Anderson, WR, Jets ($8,800)

The Browns don’t have an amazing secondary either, and Anderson has the kind of breakaway speed (95) that gives him big play potential. He can be very productive on just a few receptions and is one of the few Jets players with major upside.

Ryan Griffin, TE, Jets ($5,400)

Griffin is far from being a big name tight end, but has done surprisingly well this sim season. He’s put together some of the most productive games we’ve seen from the tight end position and also has a solid floor. You might not strike gold with Griffin, but he’s a necessary value play that could help you roster heavy hitters elsewhere.
