UPDATE: How the public is betting Quarantillo-Carlyle

In a matchup added to the card at UFC Fight Night on May 30th, Billy Quarantillo takes on Spike Carlyle in a match of two fighters that are 1-0 as part of the UFC promotion. As Quarantillo fought as a lightweight in his last fight and Carlyle as a featherweight, this is expected to be a catchweight battle.

Quarantillo is 13-2 as an MMA professional, and fights out of Gracie Tampa South in Florida. His second-round stoppage of Jacob Kilburn by submission in his UFC debut last December was his sixth-straight win, including his Dana White’s Contender Series victory in July to earn a full-promotion contract.

Carlyle has won five consecutive fights including his UFC debut, a first-round knockout of Aalon Cruz at UFC Fight Night 169 on February. The “Alpha Ginger” from San Diego has won five of his fights by KO and three by submission, having only gone the distance once in his 9-1 career.
