Top NFL Targets at each position for 6-game slate on May 26th

Tuesday’s Madden slate is set. DraftKings has a six-game classic contest going for the second day this week. We break down the best plays at each position below. You can enter your lineups here.

Quarterback

Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers ($6,600) vs. Bengals

Big Ben has thrown more touchdowns (38) than any other quarterback in slate and will be up against one of the lowest scoring defenses from a fantasy perspective. He’s thrown for at least three scores in four of his last five games. Getting him as one of the cheaper quarterbacks in the slate is a steal.

Josh Allen, Bills ($6,100) vs. Seahawks

Allen might not be lighting it up with his arm, but he’s rushed for eight touchdowns this sim season. More than one starting running backs have tallied. Allen’s produces even when Buffalo’s offense can’t score points. No quarterback is necessarily cheap in this slate, but Allen is one of the options most likely to give you bang for your buck.

Other option: Jared Goff, Rams ($6,300) vs. Washington

Running back

Miles Sanders, Eagles ($6,700) vs. Falcons

Sanders’ price has jumped up from $5,000, but he’s still worth rostering against Atlanta. The Eagles running back has notched at least three receptions in four straight games and has reached double-digits in fantasy points for six straight games. His versatility almost always make him a staple in his team’s offense.

Ezekiel Elliott, Cowboys ($7,000) vs. Colts

Elliot is often the most expensive running back in the slate, and this is one of the games I think he has a good chance to return value in. He’s eclipsed 20 fantasy points in two straight games and will be up against the lowest scoring defense in the slate. Dallas aerial attack could build up a lead quickly and open up room for Elliott to get a ton of carries down the stretch

Chris Thompson, Washington ($3,700) vs. Rams

Washington has gotten little to nothing from Derrius Guice and Adrian Peterson. Thompson hasn’t provided a ton of upside as a traditional back, but his pass catching makes him the best option at running back for under $5,000. He’ll get some balls thrown his way and could flirt with 10 DKFP on a good day.

Leonard Fournette, Jaguars ($6,000) vs. Titans

Fournette has hit a bit of a rough patch, but could get back on track against a defense with two defensive players sporting overall ratings above 80 on the defensive line and in the linebacker corps.

Other option: Todd Gurley, Rams ($6,200) vs. Washington

Wide receiver

JuJu Smith-Schuster, Steelers ($6,300) vs. Bengals

Roethlisberger has the best matchup at the quarterback position, so stacking him with his top wide receiver makes a lot of sense. Smith-Schuster hasn’t played like a top-flight wideout, but cracked 12 DKFP in five straight games before his last sim.

Tyler Boyd, Bengals ($4,800) vs. Steelers

Boyd has been one of the most productive slot receivers this sim season and is playing opposite A.J. Green, who attracts more attention from opposing defenses. Boyd’s 69 receptions for 951 yards and nine touchdowns seem more like WR1 numbers.

T.Y. Hilton, Colts ($7,700) vs. Cowboys

Hilton has never been this pricey, but is clearly the best wideout in the slate. Don’t let Byron Jones’ coverage deter you, as Hilton’s elusiveness has helped him eclipse 23 fantasy points against the Patriots, Ravens, Broncos, and Steelers this year. He can get open against the best of them.

D.J. Chark Jr., Jaguars ($5,800) vs. Titans

More than ¹⁄₄ of Chark’s catches have gone for scores and he’s riding a 13-game streak of double-digits in fantasy points. He doesn’t haul in a ton of passes, but he makes big plays when Gardner Minshew connects with him.

Other option: Brandin Cooks, Rams ($5,000) vs. Washington

Tight End

Vance McDonald, Steelers ($4,600) vs. Bengals

McDonald has been on a tear as of late and could get a healthy boost against Cincinnati. He leads all tight ends in touchdowns (8) and is second to only Eric Ebron in receptions (81). He’s riding a streak of six straight double-digit fantasy point games.

Eric Ebron, Colts ($5,600) vs. Cowboys

Ebron is pricier but has had more big games. He hasn’t had a monster performance just yet, but is a major threat in the middle of the field — especially in the red zone.

Other option: Jordan Reed, Washington ($5,000) vs. Rams

Defense/Special Teams

Steelers D/ST ($2,900) vs. Bengals

The Steelers are the highest scoring defense in the slate and have three players with superstar traits at their disposal. Having star pass rushers and defensive backs could make it tough for a Bengals team with limited ground game and an underachieving WR1.
