UFC President Dana White is a big Boston sports fan despite now living in Nevada. And he’s gone with a big bet on his favorite quarterback to be part of the winning duo at The Match: Champions for Charity today at The Medalist in South Florida. He’s put down $15,000 on Tom Brady and Phil Mickelson to beat Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning.
Only @TomBrady could get me to bet on and watch GOLF!! Tune in at 3pm ET on TNT. Let’s kick some ASS @TomBrady & @PhilMickelson pic.twitter.com/o3VtDrKxh8

White’s partial ownership share of UFC makes him easily worth nine figures, so 15 dimes is mere pocket change to him. But he’s also getting a nice price with the underdogs today, who seem to have a surge of late money coming in on them to be the winners.
White also pitched Brady on also becoming a Las Vegas resident when the free agent quarterback was looking for a new home this offseason. Brady ended up choosing Tampa Bay, which made the commute to today’s match in Hobe Sound a bit easier.
Even though TB12 has moved on, it appears he still has a fan in the head of MMA’s largest promotion.
