When Mac McClung said he was transferring from Georgetown, we knew there would be a long list of schools looking for his services. But how far and wide that list is might be a bit surprising as the sophomore guard revealed his narrowed choices via gif on his Twitter account today.

In case you can’t hit pause that fast those Photoshopped jerseys are, in order, Texas Tech, Auburn, Memphis, USC, BYU, Arkansas, and Wake Forest.
That’s a big diversity of styles, and there aren’t a lot of players going from the gold-standard Catholic institution in G’Town to the Mormon pinnacle of BYU. And Memphis certainly is an interesting choice considering the cloud of the NCAA is hanging over that program with Penny Hardaway at all times.
Him landing at Wake Forest would be a big coup for Steve Forbes at his new Demon Deacons job, and Bruce Pearl will recruit anyone at any time to Auburn.
We’ll see what he decides, but it looks like he might not be minding the attention here.
Sources: Georgetown transfer Mac McClung is expected to announce his list of seven potential destinations later today.

Someone asked me earlier if I could tweet out that a particular player was going announce that he is cutting down his list to seven later today.

Seriously.
Holy schnikes, Goodman!
