Two quality light heavyweights face off when Klidson Abreu and Jamahal Hill do battle at a UFC event on May 30th that doesn’t have a location as of yet. UFC has not formally announced the fight yet, but it was agreed to in early May.
Abreu (15-4) was the champion in Brave CF, and had won six in a row when he was signed by the UFC. He’s 1-2 in the new promotion, having gone the distance in all three fights. He’s got a decision victory over Sam Alvey and losses to Magomed Ankalaev and Shamil Gamzatov.
Hill is 7-0 as a professional, including a win at Dana White’s Contender Series in July. His only UFC result so far was a unanimous decision over Darko Stosic in January, where he had 101 significant strikes to just 31 for his opponent in the three-round fight.
Where this fight will be held, either in Jacksonville or Arizona or the UFC Apex complex in Las Vegas, is yet to be determined. But we do know these fighters will have a match, and a chance to push towards the Top 15 rankings in what is one of the promotion’s most competitive divisions.
When odds for this fight are available, they’ll be posted here.
