The Washington and Miami Dolphins will face off in a Madden sim Saturday at 12:00 p.m. ET. We break down the ideal Showdown lineup strategy for the DFS contest centered around the matchup. You can set your lineup and play at DraftKings.

Captain’s Picks

DeVante Parker, WR, Dolphins ($14,400)

Parker is Miami’s top offensive weapon and won’t have an elite defensive back to cover him. The Dolphins typically have little to no success on the ground, so he’s likely to get a fair amount of targets. He’s had great games and some that are just average. Betting on a big-time performance this time around could put you in the money.

Dwayne Haskins, QB, Washington ($15,300)

Haskins has surprisingly been one of the more productive quarterbacks in Madden sims. Despite working with a below average, he’s been able to put up solid numbers while spreading the ball around. Miami doesn’t have a particularly good secondary and there’s not one target for the Dolphins to key in on.

Flex Men

Jordan Reed, TE, Washington ($8,200)

Reed is Washington’s highest rated pass catcher should benefit from running intermediate routes against a below average linebacker group. He has an 84 overall and 87 catching while the Dolphins’ best linebacker is a 76 overall. That bodes well for Reed.

Chris Thompson, RB, Washington ($1,600)

Derrius Guice and Adrian Peterson have been abysmal in every sim they’ve appeared in, but Chris Thompson has somehow provided the most value as a RB3. He’s been able to rush for positive yardage and has consistently hauled in catches out of the backfield. He might not blow you away with his numbers, but he’s a quality value play.
