Tiger, Manning, Phil, Brady will play Hole No. 5 with one club

The Match between Tiger Woods, Peyton Manning, Phil Mickelson, and Tom Brady features a twist on the fifth hole. We break it down.

RESULT: Tiger Woods went with his 4-iron, Phil Mickelson went with his 6-iron, and Tom Brady and Peyton Manning used long-irons as well.. The two teams halved the hole.

The Match: Champions For Charity gets going this Sunday at The Medalist Golf Club, and the match play event is going to feature at least one twist. On hole No. 5, the four golfers will all use only one club, per Yahoo! Sports.

There is no word on the specific club it will be, and if it means they’ll all use the same club, or if they each get to choose a club. The fifth hole is a par 4 at 408 yards, but according to a friend of friend who plays Medalist, the hole usually plays into the wind and the area in front of the fairway is marshy. If they come up short of the fairway, it could get ugly.

DraftKings Sportsbook has added a couple prop bets specific to hole 5. You can bet on the winner with tie an option, or you can bet on the winner tie resulting in no action. For the former bet, Tiger and Manning are +200, Mickelson and Brady are +250, and tie is +120. For the latter bet, Tiger and Manning are -134 and Mickelson and Brady are +110.
