The last Bundesliga DFS showdown match of the return weekend is today as Werder Bremen and Bayer Leverkusen face off, with the match beginning at 2:30 p.m. ET. Here’s our best lineup ideas for Showdown picks today, and you can find all of DraftKings Fußball contests here.

Keep in mind it looks like Leverkusen star Kevin Volland and his teammate Lars Bender are out for today’s match.

Captain’s Picks

Kai Havertz, Leverkusen ($14,700)

With Volland out, Havertz will need to assert himself more aggressively into the forward third. As a #10, playmaking will be even more important in the absence of the two regulars, so this is an easy pick considering the discounted price. Also keep in mind Bayer had nine of the top 10 players by price in this showdown, because they should dominate a side that’s in relegation territory.

Flex plays

Karim Bellarabi, Leverkusen ($11,000)

Should be pressed into a more attacking role in midfield today, and even if he doesn’t score or assist on a goal, his ability on the ball has value: He scored 28 fantasy points in the Europa League match against Rangers, and can win enough balls in the midfield and provide enough service that he’ll add non-goal scoring points as well.

Lucas Alario, Leverkusen ($8,800)

NOTE: be sure to check a starting XI here before playing him, as he might not start. But with the injuries, it would make sense for the Argentinian to crack the team sheet today. And if he does, his statistics are outstanding per 90: six goals in 914 minutes of play, and 25 scoring opportunities created. He’s stuck behind Volland normally, but that won’t matter for fantasy points today. If he plays, he needs to be in your lineup.
