Breaking down money bet thus far on Tiger, Manning vs. Phil, Brady

The underdogs are favored in The Match. We break down the betting splits on that and the top prop bets a week out.

“The Match: Champions for Charity” is set to take place a week from Sunday, and the public is betting on the underdogs in the early going at DraftKings Sportsbook. Phil Mickelson and Tom Brady are listed at +150, while Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning sit at +200. With nine days left until they face off, 52 percent of the betting handle and 55 percent of total bets are on Mickelson and Brady.

You can also wager on a wide range of prop bets. The most bet prop bet thus far is that there will be a hole-in-one in the tournament. That’s a pretty bold bet, but at +10000, I suppose people figure why not roll the dice?

Following that, the four most bet-on prop bets thus far are:

Hole 3 – Longest Tee Shoe (Phil Mickelson)
Hole 1 Winner (Woods/Manning)
Hole 8 – Nearest to the Hole (Phil Mickelson)
Leader after 9 holes (Woods/Manning)

We’ll be breaking down the holes at Medalist next week, but for the time being, this gives you a starting point on what people will be watching when the foursome gets underway on May 24th.
