Updated Arlovski-Lins odds, betting splits

In the only heavyweight fight on the preliminary card at UFC Jacksonville, Andrei Arlovski takes on Philipe Lins. The fight airs on ESPN+ on May 13th, with the card starting at 6 p.m. ET

Arlovski is 41 years of age, and his 28-19 record with two no contests makes him the much more experienced fighter. The Belarusian goes by the nickname “The Pitbull” but he’s lost some of his bite as of late dropping four of his last five decisions. His last bout saw him knocked out by Jairzinho Rozenstruik in just 29 seconds, but he’s also willing to throw a punch as well: 61% of his UFC wins have come by knockout.

Lins steps into a UFC cage for the first time, but has a professional record of 14-3. He was the 2018 champion at heavyweight in the Professional Fighters League, and hasn’t dropped a bout since moving up to the highest weight class. Lins is 35 himself, and likely won’t have many more fights where he’s the younger man in the ring.

Here are the betting odds for Andrei Arlovski vs. Philipe Lins at UFC 249 in Jacksonville on May 13:
