The Bundesliga, Germany’s premier soccer league, returns to action this weekend with nine matches spread from Saturday, May 16th to Monday, May 18th. The league announced last week it will return on Saturday with a schedule that will feature several weeks of two matches per team.
DraftKings Sportsbook has posted odds for each of the nine matchups this coming weekend, and the top teams in the league are fairly heavy favorites. Bayern Munich sits atop the table and is installed at -500 for its Sunday matchup at FC Union Berlin. Second place Borussia Dortmund is -182 at home against FC Schalke, while the dogs are +480 and a tie is +310. Third place RB Leipzig is -335 in their home matchup with SC Freiburg. The latter two matchups are huge, with Schalke holding onto the second UEFA Europa League qualifying spot and Freiburg tied with Wolfsburg a point back.
The biggest game at the bottom of the table features Fortuna Düsseldorf hosting SC Paderborn 07. Paderborn is at the very bottom with 16 points and all but certain to be relegated. Düsseldorf is in third to last place with 22 points and fighting to get out of a relegation playoff spot.
